Welcome!It has been an honor to represent all the citizens of Nelson County as I have these last twelve years, first on the School Board and now as a member of the Board of Supervisors. I have enjoyed planning for the future for my constituents, protecting the rich cultural heritage of rural Virginia, and remembering why we all love it here: the beautiful landscape and open spaces, and the character of the people. Virginia is changing rapidly, and protecting our rural heritage will be an ever-increasing challenge. The 2009 Nelson County Central District Board of Supervisors election campaign is underway. I hope you will join me in discussing the issues of concern for our county, and share your ideas for making Nelson an even better place to live and work. I look forward to seeing you at our Board of Supervisor meetings, candidate debates, forums and campaign events when you are able. I will be out knocking on doors and calling and hope to find you home and ready to give me advice and to share your opinions and concerns.
